I was born in Bolton, Greater Manchester in the UK in 1948. After completing my drama training at Bolton College in 1990 I worked in over 40 theatre productions as both an actor and director. Television credits include work for the BBC, Granada and Channel 4 and I have recently been in the BBC3 series BURN IT, NO ANGELS for Channel 4 and the soon to be seen MINE ALL MINE (ITV1).
