With a penchant for creating challenging characters his recent film and TV work includes a vampire cowboy (Umbrage - Dir. Drew Cullingham), your friendly neighbourhood drug-dealer Les (7 seconds to heaven - dir. Caleb Lindsey) an unrepentant sex-offender (Bad Girls - ITV - dir. Julian Holmes), an advertising executive lost in a forest with a surreal French woman (Do Elephants Pray? - dir. Paul Hills), an anarchist turned assassin's pimp (Too Many Bullets - dir. Simon Fortescue) and a video-documenting post apocalyptic survivalist (The Zombie Diaries - dir. Kevin Gates / Michael Bartlett). Jonnie has also worked consistently as a Voice Over artist on Radio & TV and was 'The Station Voice' on Radio One's Sony award winning idents. He has also presented on music radio and once fronted the band Curfew. Jonnie wrote, produced and starred in the feature film "Do Elephants Pray?" Dir. Paul Hills) and he has recently completed develoment on two new feature screenplays also to be dircted by Paul Hills (Boston Kickout, The Poet) for Dimarco Films. Jonnie has a Kevin Bacon number of 3.
