Kate has previously recorded with Rick James and Jason Silver from the group, Raiyn. Kate’s broad and varied repertoire favours the style of days gone by. Theatre credits include a one woman show of Alan Bennett’s much loved Talking Heads at Jersey’s Arts Centre. Kate played Susan in Bed Among the Lentils and Lesley in Her Big Chance to full, appreciative houses and press reported an ‘excellent portrayal’. Other credits include Ophelia in Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead opposite Robert Duncan (Drop the Dead Donkey) and Joe Pasquale, a performance at the Royal Albert Hall for the London Theatre of Ballroom, 'Seraphina' in the original cast of Once Upon a War with the National Youth Music Theatre and presenter on 'Club XS' for Sola Channel TV. ‘A large audience warmly received this compelling performance and we look forward to seeing more of Kate’s work in the future. She is a highly competent actor who will surely go on to achieve high professional success on the stage.’ – The Jersey Arts Trust Annual Report. 'The Kate Eden Jazz Ensemble played at our Summer Party this year (2007) They were absolutely superb. With both a modern and traditional feel Kate truly has a great voice, accompanied by the smooth sounds of her band. I was most impressed and would highly recommend that you make your party truly unforgettable too.' Dennis Lavin, Managing Director - Vistra Trust & Corporate Services ‘Kate’s picture of the ‘fan club’ who clucked and cosseted and fussed around the vicar was superbly painted’ ‘Her portrayal was excellent’ ‘Kate delivered a performance that was humorous yet still managed to portray the pathos that lay just beneath the exterior of the character.’ ‘Sarah’s meeting with the exotic Ramesh and his gods is poignantly portrayed and has the power to bring tears to the eyes’ – Sam Cummins, Jersey Evening Post ‘Kate Eden follows in the footsteps of the Greats’ – Louise Nibbs, Editor, Jersey Evening Post ‘Excellent – More of the same sort of stuff would be good!’ – Dr Omissi, Hautlieu College ‘Excellent approach of the artist’ – S J Llewellyn Jenkins, St Michaels School ‘Presentation was first class’ – Paddy McCartney, Se La Salle College
