About: 
Melissa Advani began her love of performance at a young age gaining Honours in Guildhall Speech & Drama and Acting examinations. Following this, she was one of 150 young hopefuls selected from over 4000 applicants to enter the National Youth Theatre for a Summer School. After this Melissa continued her studies taking Drama at both GCSE and A-Level. She then went on to complete a BA (Hons) degree at QMW University and the Central School of Speech and Drama in English and Drama.
She spent 4 years working in Fringe theatre and short films and then gained a role in Bollywood movie 'Kuch Din, Kuch Pal'.
Melissa then completed a one year post-graduate Acting course at the accredited Drama Studio London in Ealing. Whilst there, she was nominated for and won the prestigious BBC Radio Carleton Hobbs Bursary Award giving her a 5 month contract with the BBC Radio Drama Company. You can hear Melissa in radio dramas across BBC Radio 2.3.4.5.7.Digital and World Service until early 2010.
