I belonged to a dancing school when I was younger and attended tap lessons. From this I was recommended for commercials, and appeared in a couple of commercials, and photo shoots for catalogues. I have been working in the IT industry in PA/Customer Service roles for the last 12 years, and have recently been made redundant, and have decided I wish to become an extra in TV/Films. The reason for my compete change in career, is that I have a very supportive partner who has told me to change my career for something I enjoy, and not something that just pays the bills! I have always loved performing as a young girl, and although I have not taken part in performing (officially) for some time, I know it is still in me. I realise being an extra is not a glamorous role, but one I know I will enjoy! |
