Patrick, 30 completed his Masters in Education Studies where he specialised in Theatre in Education and Drama in Education at the University of Loughbourgh (July 2002). Trained at the Liverpool Institute for the Performing Arts (LIPA) in Liverpool UK, Patrick trained Acting, Musical Theatre, Singing for the Stage, Movement and Stage Stunts. He has also achieved a professional certificate in Musical Theatre and an LTCL in Applied drama as well as a certificate in Performance Arts from the Trinity College, London.
Presently, he is a full time drama teacher at an independent school, St Michael Foundation for Education. He has also worked as a Tutor in various drama schools in Malta such as The National Drama School, Masquerade Theatre School, and the Workshop Performance Arts School and is the Workshop Master of Curtain Raiser Theatre Troupe Malta which he founded on January 2002. As an actor Patrick performed various productions locally and abroad including the Highlights of the Musicals, Jesus Christ Superstar, Ghaliex Jien, Jesus of Nazareth, The King and I, Il-Hotbi ta’ Notre Dame, Dancing at Looghnasa, Annie, Scrooge, The Music of Andrew Lloyd Webber, Lady Di, Eklissi Etern, The Doctor and The Devils, The Crucible, KANDOR, Is-Sbejha u l-Mostru. As an artistic director he directed, No More Pickled Onions, Pupazzi, Allat, L-Istatwa, The Doctor and the Devils in Malta and Italy and KANDOR in Switzerland, Poland, Belarus, Edinburgh (Fringe Festival), India and Malta, Wicc imb’Wicc, MUSICALL – Highlights from musicals and latest he wrote and directed a controversial original play “Il-Mizien Fetah Ghajnejh”. As choreographer for actors, Patrick directed The Little Shop of Horrors, Il-Hotbi ta’ Notre Dame, Sette Giugno, Scrooge and Lady Di. At the Valletta City of Culture Drama Festival he placed 2nd as an actor in Eklissi Etern and 3rd with No More Pickled Onions, which he directed.
His appearances on TV take us back to the recent popular Sitcom ‘Simpatici’ playing the role of Angelo. Now Patrick is preparing to produce his own TV sit com
