About:  Hesketh Media provides the following services: • MUSIC PRODUCTION Film scores, computer game scores and TV productions including animations and documentaries etc. Music to fit any budget, whether it is a small 4 minute animation using studio sampled instruments; or 40 minutes worth of music for a computer game performed by the Bratislava Philharmonic Orchestra. Composer Chris Hesketh produces a variety of music covering all genres from orchestral to electronic dance scores. He specialises in producing thematically driven orchestral scores in a variety of styles and genres, ranging from powerful action driven scores to romantic sweeping music; from large 90 piece full orchestral scores to small intimate pieces for string quartet. This means Chris will be able to find a style to match your vision. Music can be produced in the following formats: ' ' • REALISTIC ARTIFICIALLY CREATED ORCHESTRAL SCORE By utilising state of the art instrument samples, a real sounding orchestral score can be produced at the fraction of the cost of hiring a live orchestra. If you listen to our show reel you will notice how the artificially created orchestral scores are virtually indistinguishable from the live recorded scores. ' ' • COMPLETE END TO END PRODUCTION OF LIVE ORCHESTRAL SCORE Hesketh Media has worked with several eastern European orchestras to provide scores for clients. Orchestras such as the Bratislava Symphony Orchestra and the Bulgarian National Radio Orchestra provide recordings which are considerably cheaper than their western counterparts. Hesketh Media has the added advantage of being based in the UK making it convenient to liaise with these orchestras and that cost benefit can be passed on to you. This process includes: 1. Producing the score and parts for the orchestra. 2. Finding an available orchestra. 3. Organising the recording date and being onsite to oversee the recording. 4. Handling the mixing of the recorded tracks and producing the final master of the score. 5. Synchronising the score to the animation/movie. You needn’t worry about any aspect of hiring an orchestra. Hesketh Media’s music writing setup is unique in that scores are completely interchangeable between being performed virtually or by a live orchestra. This means that you can hear elements of a commissioned score to get it exactly right before the live performance, thus giving piece of mind. ' ' • ORCHESTRATION Hesketh Media can also provide orchestration services if you prefer to create your own themes. We work to your vision for the score and are able to produce a full orchestral version of your melodies. If you provide us with a list of your requirements we can produce the soundscapes you need and mix each one in a surround sound environment. ' ' • ASSISTANCE IN INTEGRATING AUDIO INTO A COMPUTER GAME Chris Hesketh has a degree in computer engineering and has spent 6 years working as a computer programmer resulting in an extensive knowledge of object oriented programming.
