Off the Cuff Theatre Company is an artist led organisation which aims "to produce artistic development". Off the Cuff has successfully produced a series of theatre industry playreadings and recently TIME OUT Critics' Choice for our first full production.
Off the Cuff has received Arts Council of England National Touring Programme funding to tour SWOLLEN TONGUES by Kathleen Oliver in 2002. Excellent reviews were received again as SWOLLEN TONGUES licked through the Theatre Royal Bath, MAC Birmingham, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Brighton, Bradford, Tunbridge Wells, Harrow, The Bull at Barnet, and closed at the UCL Bloomsbury.
Now a registered charity and a memeber of the Independent Theatre Council, Off the Cuff has developed THE HARDY TREE Experiment, a site specific production whihc took place at the Old St. Pancras Churchyard (the oldest site of ritual in England) on October 24th 2005. This 3 week project was funded by The Arts Council of England.
In development is EDDIE BABY (in association with Apropos Productions), Off the Cuff's first Edinburgh Festival production. Also in development for production in 2008/09 is THE BOOK OF LIZ by The Talent Family! PLUS Keep your eye out for 9TH STREET WATER by Michael Griffo (in association with BBR Productions)! A disturbing trip into the middle aged lives of a group of woman living in Queens. Health Warning: Never screw with a girl from Queens!
