AIR BAGS Our Air Bags are built of the most durable tear resistant light weight material available. This material resists color fading and cold temperature cracking. The Air Bags are designed with innovative features that allow for fast setup, re-inflation and roll up time. Web handles provide for ease of positioning, movement and anchoring. Adjustable for impact softness. AIR RAMS. A pneumatic platform that when stepped on lifts & throws the stunt performer through the air. Air rams must be treated with utmost respect & used by professional stunt performers. We have three types off air rams, they all are all designed to be safe, reliable & smooth. All our air rams have a SF'x connection box built into the system. . RATCHETS (Jerk Back Rig) A pneumatic cylinder used to snatch a stunt performer, wearing a jerk jacket, through the air. Like the air rams, our ratchets are designed to be safe, reliable and smooth. Various ratchets available for any job, single or multiple man snatches from 1 - 50ft +. (We have ratchets able to snatch or propel vehicles - See photo's). . RUSSIAN SWING. A large swing device used to launch a stunt performer through the air. A experienced stunt person can travel much higher & or further than when using an Air Ram. The swing needs 2 stunt persons, one to push & one to fly. (Using a Swing you can clear a house!) . DESCENDER This is a cable drum device that can allow a performer to fall hundreds of feet. In the past, freefall capability was only possible with the deaccellerator. This was unfortunate because deaccellerators have limited height capabilities. Other problems include the possibility of cable entanglement and high cable torque. With the development of the highspeed descender the functional limitations of the deaccellerator have been overcome. This device can be used without an airbag or pads below the stunt performer, so that, when filming, the ground can be shown without compromising the shot. (New computerised decender system comming soon!) . DECELERATOR A pneumatic stopping device for falls. The difference between a descender and a deaccellerator is simply the descender is a cable spool while the deaccelerator is a slack line with a shock-absorbing system in-line. A simple bungee jump in essence is a deaccellerator. Numerous pneumatic and bungee/rope systems work well, the key to the technology is knowing which system to use for which stunt because each has its inherent advantages and disadvantages. Once again this device can be used without an airbag or pads below the performer, so that, when filming, the ground can be shown without compromising the shot. |
