DRAGON MEDIA. 09/12/01-Having set up Dragon Media late last year, it has given me the opportunity to gain hands on production experience. The company deals with everything from the basic wedding video to music promos as well as low budget short films. My main duties included the directing of promos and short films, as well as the day to day organising of production shots. This first hand experience has given me a strong appreciation and understanding of the production process and a confidence to deal with budgets.
SWITCHED ON PRODUCTIONS. 14/10/00 – 02/11/01Working at Switched On Recruitment, has afforded me a great insight into the industry. I have been placed in numerous production and post production houses, which has afforded me the opportunity to participate in a wide variety of production and post production, activities. I have assisted in numerous productions and had the opportunity to witness the full postproduction process.
OPTOMEN TELIVISION. 14/07/00 -14/10/00Main duties were assisting reception; which consisted of contracting despatch couriers, dealing with post, answering calls, maintaining stock and archives and production running, which I found immensely enjoyable and educational. Running on set, allowed me a first hand insight into the real nature of productions, which I found invaluable.
NATS POST PRODUCTION. 10/02/00 -12/07/00Duties spanned form, Reception, answering calls and organising meetings. To the library stocktaking, archiving of material, and the filing of current client material. Looking after the general welfare of clients, invoicing and the organisation of couriers.
