As the region's youngest and most experienced strategic youth business & media development experts, I spent most of my career traveling the world for Asia's leading satellite broadcasting company (Astro plc) as their Head of Regional Youth Projects. I focused on Corporate Social Responsibility while enhancing profitability of the group's youth-targeted cross-media platforms, projects & business units.
The highlights of my tenure include speaking on Youth & ICTs at the UN Global Youth Forum in Switzerland (Sept 07), the UN Meets Web 2.0 Conference in New York (March 08), the European Alternative Channel TV Forum in Barcelona (April 08), the World Congress for ICT (May 08) in Kuala Lumpur, The 1st World Radio Broadcasters Meeting (June 08) in Istabul, Turkey, The ATHGO/UN-GAID Global Youth Forum in Armenia (Oct 08) and most recently, The 2nd Annual Middle East Corporate Social Responsibility Forum in Dubai (Nov 08).
The United Nations appointment me as their Youth Ambassador / e-Leader for the Asia Pacific region in March 2008 and I will also be sitting on their UN Global Alliance for ICT Development Strategic Council until 2010.
As a veteran Radio DJ & TV Personality with more than 12 years experience in the music, youth, entertainment and broadcasting industries; my work in media including my role in music as a singer, songwriter & producer have and will continue to grant me international experience, networks & exposure globally.
Being a licensed private pilot since 2006, I am now furthering my education to pursue an Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL) at the Australia Wings Academy in Gold Coast, Australia.
My goal upon graduation Q3-2009 with my ATPL and Diploma in Aviation together with my existing MBA from London's Trinity College & University is to inject youth creativity and strategic thinking towards airline management enhancing the global aviation industry.
