Hi, I'm Rachael. I graduated from a media production degree in 2003 and I will be relocating to Manchester in November. after a short break I am now ready to take the plunge into the media industry. I'm an excellent communicator, highly motivated, eager and willing to take on any role offered within the Manchester area. I'm willing to start from the bottom to get good hands on experience and work my way up. I'm an experienced administrator so am great around an office, and I also know how a studio works. At university I often acted as producer or PA and am a very competent administrator. Im an experienced researcher and I enjoy chatting to people, retrieving and investigating information etc. I held the position of Publicity co-ordinator for a regional film exhibition, 'Birds Eye View' which showcased the work of British female talent, and Joanna Lumley is the patron for. My role included contacting local press, liaising with local companies and the public.

I really would just like the chance to gain some practical experience in the industry, working either full time paid or part time voluntary work experience. I want to be inspired, shown new skills and to be given the chance to show that I can be a valuable crew member.
