About:
|
Finally succumbing to my lifelong passion for photography I took the plunge and completed HNC in photography in 2004 (as a mature student/married man with own business to run I couldn't afford to do the 2nd year for HND...!). I love the work of Nan Goldin and Bert Hardy - although I couldn't say where my influences come from. I enjoy PR work, especially reportage and interpretative styles - getting to grips with a story and trying to bring that out in the work. Now using my "skills with stills" to good effect as DOP and Lighting Director. Worked as Stills Photographer on "Night is Day" http://www.ukscreen.com/screen/200 Just finished work as DOP/Lighting on "Bottle" http://www.ukscreen.com/screen/201 and another short film "The Loft" by Paul J. McConnochie. Shortly will be working as DOP/Lighting on "P.I.T.S" with Fraser Coull http://www.ukscreen.com/screen/202
