I have recently completed a work experience as a Researcher for the BBC. Before that, I worked as a Researcher and Assistant Producer for Arab TV, a satellite channel based in London and Baghdad. My duties at A-TV included researching and co-ordinating all stages of production of a daily Current Affairs programme called “The Big Interview” and the news bulletin. I was also researcher and producer of a 3-min daily clip for the news bulletin called “Today in History”.
I have just finished my first short documentary: VOICES 2003, which I have entirely produced, shot, directed and edited. The film entered the VII Biennale del Cinema della Pace in Italy, the Next-5-Minutes film festival in Amsterdam, Beyond TV Film Festival-UK and also received good reviews from the Borderline Film Festival-UK.
I hold a MA in International Journalism at City University in London and an MA course in Documentary Research at London College of Printing.
