About:
I am very much into experimental film technique as I believe mainstream cinema is in a clear decline. I favour visual tricks in camera rather than relying on blue screens and CGI. I enjoy the script breakdown in shots with the director, it's the most satisfying process of all. I see the main photography as a tool in addition to other physical, organizational, managerial, interpretive and image-manipulating techniques to effect one coherent process. I am a cinematographer who looks into cinematography as a creative and interpretive process that culminates in the co-authorship of the look of a film production rather than the simple recording of a physical event. |

Other Skills:

I am very familiar with any digital and motion picture Super-16 camera money can buy. I am also starting to get into the realms of Panaflex cameras. I have an unbeatable professional relationship with Panavision and LEE Lighting to strike fantastic rental packages. I consider myself a very good negotiator. Lighting wise, I am capable of transforming an empty unprepared warehouse into the most effective lighting studio with the help of electrical trickery and scaffolding resources. I applied myself to studdying any art form to break the boundaries of cinematography-videography in the form of camera dynamics, lighting and composition. I am very knowledgeable about lighting equipment and grip. I am very energetic and get things cracking at fast gear in order to favour the livenes on set. I am a fanatical to detail in prep, but I am also flexible if the nature of the project demands that. I am a good listener and communicator. I am discipline when pressure levels arise.

Additional Information
I am an enquiring mind that keeps learning and searching for unexplored ways to enlighten our craft. I try to keep regular talks with those who collaborate closely with me like set designers, editors and colorist and lab technicians prior the shooting and afterwards, of course. I don't have any particular preference for a medium, I like both: traditional and digital cinematography.
