About:  I joined DNA studios as a recording engineer in 2002 having graduated from the University of Salford, with a BSc Hons in 'Music, Acousitcs and Recording'. During my time at DNA, I worked with artists including 'Steve', Underdown, T-Girl, C14, Andy Hunter, Doug E Ross, and Cathy Burton. I also had the opportunity to work with some great producers/engineers including Graeme Duffin (wet wet wet) and Stuart Reid (Big Brovas, So Solid Crew, Liberty-X, Muse, Daniel Beddingfield). I am experienced in all aspects of recording, from room acoustics, recording/miking techniques and mixing, in both analog and digital domains. I am skilled as a Pro-tools op, and also as a programmer. I am a classically trained musician, having studyied piano , music theory, composition and arranging from an early age. I have years of experience playing keyboards in bands and groups, and i feel this enables me to approach the recording process from many different angles, leading to better communication and understanding with the client. I am skilled in programming music also, and have been writing music for the media for the past two years. My career as a freelance sound engineer/producer/programmer requires me to work confidently and happily under pressure with new clients, understanding their needs, interpreting their ideas into reality and getting the best out of them.
