I am currently working as a Sound Engineer for SIDE UK which is a Audio Production company working in the field of TV post production and computer games primarily. Before this I worked at MRTC as a radio support technician on contract to the Toyota Formula 1 Team. It was my job to set-up the entire radio system used by the team for the testing of their F1 cars for the 2002 Grand Prix season. I previously worked at QVC The Shopping Channel for five years. I started at QVC as a studio floor manager. I then moved into the television operations department to become a technical assistant where I worked as a camera operator, transmission controller, vision controller and sound assistant. After a year in this position I became promoted to be a Sound Operator and I worked in this role for around two years.Prior to QVC I spent three years studying at North Warwickshire Technical College where I gained two BTEC National diplomas. The first was a foundation art course, which then led onto an Audio-Visual course. This dealt with video production, sound engineering, DTP and photography.
