About:

Sound and film are my passion, and I have fine-tuned my skills at the National Film and Television School (NFTS) over the past two years. I have worked with some of Britain’s most talented film-makers. I have mixed for Ewan Mc Gregor (Rachael House Appeal), sound-designed Ken Trodd’s feature film (Monday 10am), and documented the dangerous lives of Indonesia’s sulphur miners on the slopes of Java’s Kawah Ijen Volcano (The Solitary Crater). Recently, I was sound engineer on a flagship American television documentary investigating links between Bin Ladin and Saddam Hussein (Saddam’s Ultimate Solution/PBS). I have worked in the music industry since 1991, released several records, and collaborate regularly with Roger Taylor of Duran Duran. I have also worked with the jazz singer, Ruby Turner, Kenny Jones from the Small Faces and the reggae band, Steel Pulse. An experienced sound recordist and music studio engineer, I master new technologies quickly and am an accomplished Protools, Nuendo and Akai editor. I have mixed on Harrison, Yamaha, Sony, Soundcraft and Protools systems and am a Mac computer specialist. I teach at the NFTS. |
