I have over 16 years of experience in Health Care, including Mental Health , surgical & medical nursing. For the past ten years, I have worked in a part time capacity with a private ambulance organisation, who have provided medical cover for events such as Horse jumping and one day eventing, and motocross. , I also have experience in directing, four videos, & crewed on many more as a camera man/ medic . I was also crew on, Mali, Mali , shot in Africa, on which I was Sound recordist and Medic,and One Man Running ,on which I was Camera and Director and Medic.

Other Skills:
I have completed modules one to six of RGN training, from 1987-1989, have a Higher National Certificate in Health Care, and a Diploma of Higher education in Nursing, which allowed my qualificartion as an RMN. I also have experience in ATLS, and Basic Life support,and up to date experience of patient transfer as well as certification as an EMT-B. Have certification in: Airway managemant,Chest Pain management, Patient Assessment, Spinal Injury Protocol, Automated External Defibrilation, (Basic).I have also just completed and passed an Emergency medical Technicians course approved by A.P.A.P & The Ambulance Service Institute in the UK

I am at present a practicing nurse specialist in addiction. I have been a crew medic in Africa , and will only consider a post as advertised.I am also available for any consultancy work within my chosen field of Mental Health.I have a current UK passport, and recent vaccinations for Sub Saharan Africa, and I am prepared to travel. I do also have my own basic First Response Kit which inlcudes basic resuscitation and airway management equipment, Cervical Spine Immobilisation kit, blood glucose monitoring kit, this basic kit can be augmented with more specialist equipment if needed.
