Having developed my skills in all aspects of film sound I am available to see your film through from initial concept to final mix, including location recording. I am a strong believer in bringing sound personnel onboard early to allow your script to develop sonically as well as visually. Whilst developing the sound map I can also assess the planned locations and advise on any likely problems making it possible to identify solutions during pre-production. The end result being that as much location sound as possible can be used in the production which in my view makes a better film. Location Sound provides the original performance.
By having one person evaluate and provide all your sound needs means that sounds can be gathered early and creative ideas brought to the offline to help improve the story telling.
I think I've gabbled long enough!
I've moved on a little since I wrote this. I ended up in Live TV as a Sound Mixer. Trained to Vision mix and Direct. I now make rolling sports news for a well known broadcaster.
I'd still love to do a little film work as a hobby but time is always a factor
