Joanna Pegram

Assistant Editor, Editor
About:
I'm a freelance editor with three years experience editing broadcasts, corporates, narratives and documentaries.
Most prominently I have edited a 60 minute documentary for Mercedes Benz ('Full Circuit') and the feature film ('Mine') which was recently accepted into both LUFF and The Venice Film Festival.
I have completed a 6 week Final Cut Pro training course at The Edit Center in New York, the Avid Media Composer 101 course at VET and have passed the FCP 300 course in advanced editing.
I give 100 dedication to every job from corporates to features and enjoy all types of editing work. As long as I'm editing I'm happy!
My ultimate ambition is to work on narratives, particularly feature films but I enjoy documentary and corporate work, cutting interviews and observational footage, and feel I have a good talent for finding a story in almost anything.
I am passionate, fast and competent and invest my all in every project I work on.

Additional Information

HD: I have taken a great interest in the development of HD in the post production industry. To keep up to date I have studied numerous publications on the subject including AVID's HD handbook (a detailed 55 page book on HD and Avid), and ADOBE's HD papers. I have also had some experience using HD as it was trialed during my time at Granada and used on the film ‘Mine’.
Awards: Winner of Best Editor at Roehampton University 2005 for Heavy Luggage.
