Laurie K. Gilbert s.o.c. is an award winning, cinematographer servicing American & European production companies globally from his operational base in S.E Asia. He has 30 years experience shooting motion picture material in 48 countries for feature films, commercials, documentaries, television drama and corporate communication productions and he shoots in all current film and HD aquisition formats. He is a helicopter aerial and offshore marine expert in both motion picture film and stills, with considerable America’s Cup, Olympic and similar offshore sailing event experience. He works with Schwem, Mako Head, Kenyon Ken-Lab gyro technology and much of his current work is super yacht and oil and gas photography for magazines. He has just completed a project as the helicopter aerial cameraman for the ESPN documentary of the Abu Dhabi Desert Challenge in the UAE.

Accomplished stills photographer providing the offshore oil, gas & marine and super yachts industry with extensive services for advertising and publication. Fully trained in H.U.E.T (Helicopter Underwater Escape Training) and offshore survival and certificates valid until 2010.

He has just completed all the helicopter aerial imagery for Hollywood remake of the movie The Street Fighter - Legend of Chun Li .
