A full representation of my work can be found at the following links: http://www.lonefoxandcub.com http://www.myspace.com/lonefoxandcub _________________________________________________________________ Delusions of grandeur from an early age, it was on my first day of school at the age of 4 that I told my teacher I intended to draw Spider-man comics for a living. 13 years later I began my first professional commission as an illustrator on Judge Dredd Megazine. After a couple of years I moved into storyboarding and visualising for advertising and design companies, which would dominate my portfolio for much of the next 10 years. I moved back into comics in 2003 as co-creator of Mysti and The 4 Aces children's graphic novels. Mysti went on to become a BBC TV show. My soul went right straight to hell. My most recent work is the self-created I Like You, I'll Kill You Last (unpublished) and I'm currently working on an as yet can't-tell-you-too-much-about-it crime noir/gothic horror series with writer Ken Miller, a few samples of which can be found on the MySpace link above.

Other Skills:

91-93) Fleetway Editions- The first story I was commisioned to illustrate was their most well known character, Judge Dredd. I followed this working on various titles, including PSI Division and Armitage: Brit Cit Detective. 94) Crucial Response Records- Based in Germany, they represent thrash/metal bands. Although not known commercially, their acts have a huge worldwide underground following. I designed and illustrated record sleeves. In a suitably gothic comic strip style. 95-97) Billington Cartmell Marketing- Focusing mainly on film and TV related properties, I produced visuals and illustrations for packaging and promotions in a wide range of styles. Clients included Coca-Cola and Warner Bros. 97) Brennan & Whalley Architectural Concepts- I produced visual concepts for planned museums, shopping centres and exhibitions. 98-99) James Glancy Design- I produced visuals and illustrations based primarily on established fairy tale characters, in the concept stage for high profile Xmas decor. Clients included the Dorchester Hotel and St. Christophers Place. 99) Helicopter Grafix- I was part of a team of 15 artists, producing storyboards from scripts for TV commercials and music videos. Clients included DHL, Kellogs, Ballantines and Sony Music. 00-03) Brewer Blackler- Also specialising in film and TV-related properties advertising, I was their only in-house illustrator, also creating storyboards and visuals for high profile ad campaigns, including UCI, NHS, Tesco, The Big Breakfast and T Mobile. 03) Bloomberg- Storyboards for in-company commercials. 03-05) Mystical Productions/Lavish Art Productions- As co-creator and illustrator on their two flagship graphic novel titles, I designed the characters and created the styles that the books were drawn in. My soul went right straight to hell. One of the books- 'Mysti'- was adapted into a successful series for the BBC, though I was uncredited. This was but one of many 'creative differences' that led to my leaving the company. The two graphic novels were subsequently cancelled as a result. I've since been freelancing across the board, while co-creating a new comic-book series with writer Ken Miller and Hollywood FX artist Steve Wang.
