Lou is an NFTS producing graduate with ten years of experience in the development and production of shorts, features and TV drama. She set up her own Brighton/London based production company (Whistling Thorn Films ltd) in 2002 after helping to set up a new London based Film School (LFA) and having a child. The company has developed a broad slate of film and TV drama including a 6 part series with the BBC based on two books"Alison Wonderland" and "Being Light" and is currently developing a variety of feature film adaptations including a script based on an international bestselling book, "Changing Places", by David Lodge and "Seville", a comedy drama, based on BBC 4 radio play by BAFTA award winning writer Paul Mendelson and Paul Alexander. The company executive produced a Screen South/UK Film Council backed short in 2007.
