I was ten when i got my first camera. That's when i started out on this magical journey, to observe, to interrupt and capture life in this constantly evolving and changing world. Every project whether it is a Feature Film, TV Drama or Documentary has it's own visual grammar. For me, it's about creating a flow of images that express the emotion and soul of the story with the use of light and shadow, colour and composition. I started my professional career over twenty years ago with the BBC in Belfast, Bristol and London. It was a fantastic apprenticeship. Starting as a gaffer, then 1st AC travelling the globe, working with some of the most creative and inspirational cinematographers in the business. I have worked across all genres but like a 'moth to the light' i keep coming back to stories about the human condition.
