I'm a writer, script developer and film-maker working in the areas of film, theatre and music. Lyric writing a specialty. NZ producer Tom Rainey (who has worked with leading NZ musicians such as Dave Dobbyn, Bic Runga and Greg Johnson) described my lyrics as "refreshingly personable and appealing". Check out some samples at www.hallettandlang.com. . 'Rolly Dial's Defining Moment' (Co-Producer, 2005), was a finalist in the Richmond Road and Flying Fives short film competitions (NZ). An 18-minute short 'The Corpse Wore White' was recently completed. Two shorts, 'My Favourite Time of the Day' and 'Grand Union Canal' are currently in post-production.
