Marc writes musical theatre and soundtracks for film and TV. He is currently working on a children's musical 'Stuck On a Sunday' at the Royal Opera House under the OperaGenesis programme and a ballet "The Island of Komodo" with producer/composer Bernd Würtz. He has recently completed the soundtrack albums for both projects. Other works include the opera 'Last Rites' and a musical, 'Burn Me Dead', inspired by the Russian novel 'The Master & Margarita' and co-written with Tim Phillips. He has just started recording an album with Japanese singer Ayu Okakita and is working on an album with producer Peter Challis and singer Lucy Johnson. Marc has also enjoyed successful collaborations with David Hare, Timothy Walker, Guy Retallack and Michael White and his soundtrack credits include over twenty shorts, two features and numerous TV and cinema commercials, including acclaimed global campaigns for Johnnie Walker and PlayStation 3. Marc was a finalist in the 2005 Berlin International Film Festival’s VW Score Competition with his soundtrack for Thomas Struck's animation "Hearts", recorded with The Berlin Film Orchestra.
