In the creative output, he is expressing his thoughts and feelings about the human condition in the urban environment. Has good knowledge of productions methods, and recently taken a keen interest in stills photography.
An active commitment to achieving an individual & distinct personal aesthetic, 'look' in the short films and digital photography.
Themes: cityscape environment, criminal psyche, street wisdom, instincts, depravation, degradation, loss, false victory, betrayal, division, guilt, paranoia, mistrust, anger, solitude, isolation, sarcasm, absurdist, black humour, moments of fantasy.
The 'look': Staircases, fire escapes, lamposts, dustbins, steam, yards and desolate sometimes derelict, damaged rooms. Bedsits, mills, huts, detritus, secondhand, run down / disused side streets, arches, lofts, yards, basements.
Camera style and form: Wide angles, long shots, jump cuts, low natural lighting, handheld steadi-cam, eye-level angles,
Also focusing on a personal endeavour to expand a current library of film related books & articles, with approximately five hundred dedicated books & articles in the collection to date - for the purpose of study & research. A further interest is to catalogue the collection for private use and public display only.
The 'myspace' website is a work in progress, it serves the purpose of describing through the display of still images, observations & thoughts about the types of themes that interest & effect current film making style.

Having met & talked with influential & inspirational film cinema craftsmen who were kind to allow for a photo and autograph to be taken, these meetings left an indelible impression on my previous interest in writing, short film making and photography. The digital film work: 'Peace Portraits' has been allocated a small repeat screening slot to be exhibited along with other short filmmakers on the 'BBC' Big Screen (Bradford) from 29th May-10th June 2008. Extra appearance in a short music video: 20th March, 2011.
These surprisingly welcome additions have indeed humbled him and given him re-strengthened belief in 'artistic input'.
Getting to meet and greet film makers and acquiring various printed work autographed and supportive photographs from the following major film makers has been a one-off chance encounter. At times this difficult and rare privilege of access has undoubtedly been an honour and an un-estimable inspiration. The film-makers are:
