Stephen has been working in the film industry for five years. In that time he has worked on a variety of projects including feature films, short films, music videos and documentarys in various posiitions (DoP, Director, 1st AD, Writer, Producer, Editor) and has recently broken into acting with appearances in the feature film 'The Shooter' alongside Wesley Snipes, Doctor Who and the Dr. Who spin off 'Torchwood' and will soon star in the feature film 'The Farm'. He is currently directing the feature film 'Tattoo's: A Scarred History' with appearances from David Carradine, Leslie Phillips and Scissor Sisters to name a few.

In 2002, 'Blink of an Eye' was voted 3rd out of over 600 entries at the World renowned Foyle Film Festival. 'Pilchards & Pantyhose' was made as part of a filmmakers 48 hour challenge, and was screened in the Curzon Cinema, Soho, London in October 2002 and later on BBC on-line. 'The Invisible World' was recently screened on American television. 'Dragonfly Dive' was made as part of a filmmakers 48 hour challenge, and was screened in the ACM Cinema, Manchester in August 2003. 'Out of Reach' has been nominated for Best International Short at the 2003 Irish Film Festival. 'Fallen Angels' commercial ran for over two months on a variety of SKY channels including Living TV, Hallmark and ITV 2. 'Fate' and 'Self' were both been shortlisted for 2005 DM Davies Award, with the winner recieving one of Europes Largest Short Film prizes.
