I have worked in the television industry for 5 years on a range of factual and entertainment programmes including historical, science, entertainment and observational genres for the BBC, Channel 4, Carlton, Discovery, and Sky.
I have extensive experience of location scouting/managing and have arranged shoots all over the UK. Locations have included castles, stately homes, museums, zoological gardens, universities, hospitals etc. I can take photographs of all suitable locations and set up a website with these on, organize fees, clearances and manage locations on the shoot days. In addition I can organize local crew, actors, extras, and refreshments.
I also work as a Shooting AP/ Researcher and I am confident in my ability to track down good contributors, archive footage, write scripts and ensure that everything is set up to schedule.
I am a competent DV camera and sound operator familiar with PD150, PD100, and Sony VX1000 cameras. In addition I have access to a PD150 and AVID DV Express editing facilities. |
