I have worked for more than 7 years in all aspects of production, in roles such as runner, grip, camera operator, D.O.P, sound assistant, lighting assistant, writer, director and editor.
I have worked with a multitude of different cameras including Sony HDV, Panasonic DVX100, XL1, XM1, DSR300, KY and various other Mini-DV formats. Also I have had experience with shooting 16 and 35mm film, colour and black and White. Recently I have been working mainly in the HDV format. I am capable of sound recording with various types of microphone and am a very competent editor using Final Cut Pro HD and also the AVID formats. I have had extensive practical experience in cinematography and have a clear understanding of creative lighting.
In 2002 I acted as director of photography, had a great deal of input and operated camera on the ‘Scrapheap’ music video which appears on Dario Argentos European ‘Suspiria’ Ultimate Collector’s Edition DVD.
In 2005 I toured for a week with musician (and director Robert Rodriguez’s sister) Patricia Vonne, shooting and directing a full length documentary, which I have also edited into a music video featuring on her website.
Although I began learning the art of film-making through the production of short films I then moved into feature film making.
Since 2003 I have worked on several feature films. I worked on three of Pat Higgins comedy horrors as director of photography, all of which have achieved an international dvd release and cult following, as well as various other feature film productions.
In 2007 I completed work on 'Jesus Versus The Messiah' a high concept biblical western which I wrote, directed and edited. The film has been gaining critical success and is scheduled for a dvd release and festival circuit later this year.
Later this year I will be directing the comedy/gangster/romance 'Jack Says' which I wrote with press on features and Lucky Strike productions. The film stars the fabulous Rula Lenska and the late Mike Reid in what will sadly be his last film role.

Currently arranging screenings and securing a DVD release for 'Jesus Versus The Messiah'. I am also writing other original scripts intended to go into production soon.
