I have just finished working as a sound trainee on “Spooks: Code 9” and I’m currently looking for my next role as sound trainee within the industry. My long term goals are to work my though the sound department with my first aim to train up to become a boom op and then progress to sound recordist. I have also an interest in post-production sound too and would like to work within both sectors.

Key Skills
•Knowledge of a wide range of location sound recording equipment, such as the SQN, Cooper mixers, DAT recorders, HHB Portadrive and SD 702T audio recorders.
•Experience with a wide range of microphones, including gun mics and radio mics.
•Basic second booming.
•Plant mic placement and rigging mics for car dialogue.
•On set front line maintenance, i.e. cleaning boom poles and cables, recharging batteries, reporting any faults to the recordist.
•Knowledge of working with PD-150/170, DSR-570, AJ-HDC27H and AJ-HDX900 cameras.
•Knowledge of audio post production systems and software, such as Pro tools, Audition and Sound Forge.
•Video and audio editing with Avid Xpress pro 4.6 and Avid Xpress Pro HD.
•Experience with a wide range TV and Radio studio broadcast equipment and I have set up a TV studio for a local college.
•I have setup an audio post-production suite for a college that I worked for.
•Good IT skills on both PC and Mac formats and basic maintenance of computer systems.
