An aeronautical engineering graduate, I have been writing in earnest for approximately 3 years. In my previous life, I was a key member of a helicopter design/development/build programme for AgustaWestland. Both my wife and I love to travel and meet people of different cultures. A number of my stories feed off our experiences - for example, Cappuccino is predominantly set in Kashmir during the uprising of November 1989. Similarly, my latest script, Burden of Guilt is based on an incident when we were in New York.

Additional Information

Scripts completed to date: CAPPUCCINO AT SEVEN THOUSAND FEET - a drama set in Kashmir that has been described by Philippe Carcassonne, of cine b (Paris, France) as "combining strength and subtlety, thought and action, intimacy and scope, in a seamless way which is seldom achieved". MICHAEL’S DAVID - a drama set predominantly in Florence, Italy. DARE TO BREATHE - a drama set in Berlin. Optioned by Screenpl>y Productions of the UK. CHOOSING WHEN - a drama dealing with assisted suicide. Optioned by a UK Production Company. BURDEN OF GUILT - a noir thriller/drama set in New York. ONE LIFE - a drama dealing with one man's love of two women. I also have a number of scripts at various stages of completion, including a high-concept political thriller (a collaboration with a published writer), an eco-terrorist thriller centred around a G8 meeting, a high-concept comedy and a modern take on a classis drama. In December 2006, I was short-listed for the GUMBALL 3000 feature competition. Unfortunately, my treatment failed to make the final three. BLOOD MOON, a sci-fi short written for a US film-maker, is scheduled to be shot during May/June 2008.
