It's a funny, warm hearted and totally enchanting comic fantasy adventure full of ogres, elves and giants. Anne Hathaway (Princess Diaries) is charming as the feisty modern thinking Ella and shows she can belt out the odd musical number. Hugh Dancy is perfectly fine as the handsome prince while Joanna Lumley is absolutely fabulous as the wicked stepmother.
