15 Minutes--Dave Goodrich's latest release from BQE Records--has captured time over the airwaves from Vermont to California and from Minnesota to Florida. In songs such as "Does This Happen All The Time?," "The Week," "Improper Tonight," and "A Thousand Years Of Highway," Goodrich uses vivid depictions of daily life to measure the passage of time. "15 Minutes" marks his first full-production solo release. Top musical talent from the mid-Atlantic region enhanced Goodrich's time-tested abilities. Dave Glasser, a 1998 GRAMMY winner and 1999 GRAMMY nominee digitally mastered "15 Minutes" at his Springfield, VA, studio--Airshow Mastering. In addition to providing excellent drum accompaniment, Chris Salamone, the current production manager for countrysensation Lee Roy Parnell, engineered and mixed the album. Peter Bonta, known for his work with renowned artists such as Mary Chapin Carpenter, and Pete Fields who has worked with numerous artists, also contributed to the work. One of the top performers in the mid-Atlantic region, Goodrich holds a degree in music from San Francisco State University, where he performed extensively in clubs while he was a student. "I was living in a warehouse in Berkeley that was filled with imported Indian grain and rock bands that hammered out their dues in bleak, cement rehearsal studios," said Goodrich. He provided drum and vocal support to several different bands, covering the spectrum from alternative to country and performing in such venues as the Berkeley Square, The Chi-Chi Club, The On Broadway, and Mabuhay Gardens. Original recordings he produced were heavily aired on college stations throughout the Bay area. Originally from Washington, DC, Goodrich also spent part of his life in Mexico, which left an indelible imprint on his musical style. Goodrich has entertained crowds as large as 20,000 while playing top events and venues throughout the mid-Atlantic region. Atlantic recording artist Jewel shared a bill with Goodrich at a Washington, DC, cafe in 1995, and Shawn Colvin was on the same bill with Dave at the 9:30 Club that same year. His shows with GRAMMY and WAMMIE (Washington Area Music Association award) winners are not the only time Goodrich has left his mark on the Washington-area music scene.
