I am a freelance screenwriter/ script developer/ film journalist, and NFTS graduate.
Feature film projects include Nemesis, a horror script, as well as script development work on features for other independent production companies, as a developer, editor and co-writer.
I have also worked with companies including Channel 4, HBO, Wildgaze Films, Finola Dwyer Productions, DGF, Agarhouse Films, Film & General Productions, Dazed Film and TV, Cinemagine and Maze Films, Belgium.
In 2004 I won the RE:Creation Award for Writing and I have freelanced as a journalist for Dazed and Confused Magazine, Channel 4, Netribution, Ideasfactory and Filmmaking dot net. I have also contributed to the UK Film Finance Handbook published by Netribution and edited the 4th Edition of "Cannes, A Festival Virgin's Guide" by Ben Craig. I was online columnist on film for the website of the Spectator Magazine.
I have written articles for Channel 4's Ideasfactory on Ben Crowe, James Brown and Preti Taneja and their 400 hundred pound short film, "The Man Who Met Himself", which was selected for competition in this year's Cannes Film Festival. Other pieces have been on Shooting People's Documentary Funding and Distribution book, Channel 4's Brit Doc Film Foundation, the WFTV Technical Change Project and Word of Mouth Films.
