Andrea’s approach to cinematography derives from his love for still photography which he’s been deeply cultivating since 1982 in Venice and subsequently world-wide. Since 1986 he's grown up for more than 10 years working non-stop within the camera department on hundreds of productions.
In 1996, after a specialized workshop in London organized by GBCT in collaboration with TECHNICOLOR and tutored by BILLY WILLIAMS BSC, Andrea became specialised as a director of photography and camera operator. He shot about fifteen films including the recent CARLO GOLDONI, CASANOVA by LASSE HALLSTROM produced by BUENA VISTA and countless music promos for top-ten talents of major music labels including WARNER BROS and SONY-BMG.
Since 1989 Andrea has been living and working world-wide (UK, ITALY, US, FRANCE, GERMANY, MOROCCO etc.), constantly challenging himself both artistically and technically.
