I am an Equity Councillor, representing Walk-on Actors, I am also on the FAA - Bectu Committee. I have been consulting with DTI Agency Standards since June 1997 regarding the regulation of Employment Agencies; and the banning of up-front fees.
I also consult with the Advertising Standards Authority, National Minimum Wage section of the DTI; and Trading Standards. I am also a regular contributor to the letters page of 'The Stage' newspaper and the Casting Collective Forums.
I consult closely with Equity, Faa/Bectu and the Screen Actors Guild (US SAG Union). I have some knowledge of ‘Custom & Practice’ in the Film/TV Industry.
I am also a working Actor/Walk-on. I headed up a £2 million advertising campaign as the Character 'Bobby Mallet' for Trebor Extra Strong Mints, TV/Cinema/Radio and personal appearances throughout the UK.
