My name is George Hughes. I live in Bournemouth on the south coast of the UK. I have written three full- length screenplays to date. I am currently writing a fourth and a fith adapted screenplay. I have written and directed four independent short short films. I have written and directed one independent feature. I have directed seven live music DVD's and around ten music videos. I have no formal training at all in filmmaking or writing. I am entirely self- tought, everything I have learnt has been from watching films, guide books, DVD extras etc. Writing- wise I hacve often drawn upon my own extremely varied life history.
