I worked on stage throughout the 80's, mostly as a stand-up comic. My act was dreadful; I survived poor material only through decent stagecraft and characterisation. I last took the stage in 1989 and my appearances until recently have been restricted to TV extra work with the occasional speaking part. I returned to full-time performing in June 2002. My character range is good; from camp alcoholic schoolteacher to psychopathic gangster and everything in between. I can sing a bit, too.
