Description:
|
This film contains SWEARING and STRONG LANGUAGE and is only suitable for adult viewing. Kevin (Stuart Brennan) has landed himself a days work with painter and decorator Ian (Tom Wontner). Kevin is very keen to become 'mates' , but the cold-hearted Ian is having none of it. During the day Kevin witnesses Ian's hypocrisy and selfish disrespect for others, and sees how, although legal, his behaviour is totally immoral. Kevin begins to adapt his behaviour aswell, but it become more and more uncomfortable for him. |

The description of the movie is more interesting than the movie itself. |

Unconfortable subject. Subtle performances by Brennan and Wontner. |

This is a beautiful film. Maybe not for all tastes, but a perfect slice of character study. |

Thought the film is addressing a very delicate topic, treated in a sensitive way. I liked Stuard's acting especially. |

Finally got another link to see this. Subtle but powerful performance by Stuart, and fun to see the always good Tom W being a bad man. But like others, I wanted more of a climax. Shame, a limp ending to an otherwise great piece. |
