Living in Cambridgeshire, I am a PC based musician. My strengths in soundtrack wriitng are definitely around dramatic (action/suspense), atmospheric and orchestral, but in song writing I tend to be more commercially orientated. I have a wide range of gear that enables me to create a good breadth of sound palettes and atmospheres and am a proficient user of Cubase 4. I am just finished building my first professional recording studio which will be the base for my music output, and for my growing and evolving output as as songwriter, producer and remixer. I am primarily seeking commissioned work but am also in the process of compiling my own production library - but whatever your requirements all enquiries gladly received! Music is my absolute passion and I have been writing since I was around 11 or 12 years old. Whilst taking the usual route of joining the school orchestra and choir and taking a few grades (in my case on clarinet!) I was always drawn towards writing rather than performing. I love the science of music - the structure of harmonies, inversions and suspended chords - how the mechanics of it all can produce such beauty and emotion.
