Have composed everything from contemporary classical through to jazz also tango music. Arranged music for theatre, e.g. sondheim premieres, jazz standards through to brass arrangement in film Miss Congeniality. I am a full time lecturer at degree level in music composition. I am a freelance composer, arranger and MD, and guitarist, bass player, mandolin and banjo. I have finished a CD of portuguese Fado music and another of latin compositions and a CD of fusion jazz and sega music, which was created after a visit to the seychelles. |

A concert of my compositions was held at the RNCM, including choral work, pieces for harp and mandolin, and saxophone quartet amongst others. I was in the past the composer in residence at the library theatre in manchester. I have scored the music for stephen sondheim's 'Follies' and this was approved by stephen himself, also scored Follies which was recently performed at the Royal and Derngate Theatre, and received fantastic reviews.
